Well, It’s not Call of Duty 4, that’s for sure.

That is what it should have read, but instead, it actually went on about the game. IGN has a review of Battlefield Bad Company, and while it is a review of the game, it almost just seems it’s a comparison to Call of Duty 4 contest. But then again, I do respect what IGN say, and it’s not usually some commercailly influenced BS, well, generally it isn’t. So yeah, IGN have a good review of Battlefield Bad Company, an interesting read for anyone interested in the Battlefield series. Personally I would get this game just for the seemingly comical side to it, but then again I’ve only seen pre-selected videos that their marketing department want us to see. So it could be as much of a comedy as ‘The Mighty Boosh’ is, so fuck all really.

But after a pedestrian introduction, Bad Company soon wakes from its stupor, working towards a crescendo of escalating explosions that obliterates memories of the sedate opening. Despite the story’s lack of cohesion and its failure to engage, the breezy nature of the humour and the characters – from the small quips of your allies that engender wry grins, to the light surf music piped over the radio on selected vehicles – help to frame the undeniable amount of fun that’s to be had throughout.
