Don’t say they never warn you. Nintendo ship out Wii Remote straps and covers for a reason, they’re not entirely decoration, oh no! But really, what kinda grown man cry’s for his mother after breaking his LCD?

Wow, Nintendo really are printing money, and $6 at that! Forbes reports that Nintendo make $6 on each Wii unit sold, compare that to the fact that Sony is loosing money on each unit sold and Microsoft are barely managing to break even, then it’s not bad!

The new iPlayer interface for the Nintendo Wii has been released by the BBC, apparently built better to suit your TV and the Wii remote. I do infact use the iPlayer alot of my computer, but have to admit I’ve never actually used it on my Wii, but maybe I should try…

It’s still using the original streaming quality, which is said to not be ideal, but ‘further developments’ means that there could be a change? Well let’s hope, no one likes to see stretched pixels on the screen.

Star Wars Anyone?

Well, here we have some nice screens of upcoming game for the Wii, Wii Sports Resort. Their ‘day at the beach’ must of been tiresome on their wrists. Tut tut, Reggie, that’s just filthy.

Nintendo Reveal Wii-Speak

Go Go Pikachu! Yes? No? Oh well, Nintendo have revealed the new “Wii Speak” at E3, Voice Chat, Wooo? This little nipper sits on top of your sensor bar and let’s you, I suppose, chat online during games and will most probably be brought in for voice activated games, Nintendogs springs to mind. What will be interesting is how sensitive this is, I’m not really one for shouting, so the need to shout SIT! at your TV screen could be interesting.

I went on Xbox Live for the first time in… ages a few days ago to play Call of Duty: 4, and after 5mins I remembered why I stopped in the first place. A sqeaky kid screaming about how he f*cked someone’s mum and how she likes sucking a certain ethnic orientated penis… mature. Sure, I do like co-ordinated FPS online, but these are the things that throw me off. And the idea of listening to someone screaming about my mum, whilst playing Wii Bowling, really doesnt do it for me.

Are you shitting me? If I was Nintendo I’d be looking at any way/shape/form I could sue Microsoft right now. Sure, there probably isn’t anything legally stopping them, but this is the biggest rip off since the last post about Sony’s take of the Wii Remote.

Microsoft’s answer to the hugely successful Nintendo Wii’s are theses ‘Avatars’:

‘”Avatars” will be used in place of the gamer picture you have today and give you a much more lifelike, animated, and fully customizable persona”

Nintendo also released a statement:

“Fuck off Microsoft, get your own ideas.”

Something along those lines anyways.

If you havnt seen this video before, then… well, you would have now… but a much speculated video in terms of people thinking it is a Nintendo advertising stunt, which has received just under 2million views in about 2 weeks. Nintendo have come out saying they have nothing to do with it.

Gaming company Nintendo has also denied it is behind the video.

A Nintendo spokesman said: “This has and is absolutely 100 per cent nothing to do with Nintendo.

“Nintendo did not create it and were not aware of it until it was brought it to our attention.”

If anything, Nintendo should sign this guy up, well, sign up his girlfriends ass to do a few adverts for Wii Fit, sure they can find a need for her somewhere.
