LittleBigPlanet DLC 0

lbp_dlc LittleBigPlanet DLC

And I don’t even have a copy of it yet! Not due to me being broke and/or lazy, due to, once again, late releases in the UK. BUT nevertheless, DLC for LittleBigPlanet is coming, and, surprise surprise, the first set of sackboy outfits are Halloween late bloomers, and free between November 6th and November 19th.

Also coming are Sackboy Costumes priced at $0.99 each, Premium Sackboy Costumes (yeah you guessed it, this is where Old Snake and Sephiroth coming into!) are priced at $1.99 each, RARE Sackboy Costumes which are, well, unpriced by the looks of it. Basic SackBoy Costume Bundle - $2.99 and Premium SackBoy Costume Bundle - $5.99.

Playstation Firmware 2.4 To Be Released At E3 0

playstation-firmware-240 Playstation Firmware 2.4 To Be Released At E3

CVG has got it’s “grubby hands” on full list of features coming with Firmware 2.40 release for the PS3 including information that it is to be released around E3. CVG Sources say that it will be released in 3 weeks, and when is E3? 3 weeks. They also make a good point that making it available at the same time as announcing it, does seem to be the way things are getting it done these days. Apple are a perfect example with Steve Jobs usually saying “…and this is available today!” which is then greeted by a chorus of “yeah!”, “woo!”, “c’mon!”.

Playstation Steals the ‘Wii-ked’ Wii remote? 1

ps3mote Playstation Steals the Wii-ked Wii remote?

Oh dear god no. My attention was drawn to a website with rumours about Sony releasing a ‘ps3mote’, apparently a focus group was taken to a ’secret facility’ to be shown and test a few mini games:

You can have up to 4 of these “PS3motes” connected at one time. A demonstrator at this focus group was there showing off the “PS3motes” capabilities, along with some mini-games to play.  The mini games ranged from tennis, to fencing, to a “really really cool” paintball game.  The demonstrator even used the “PS3mote” to play “Quake” on his laptop.

Click here to see what can only be described as possibly the funniest rumour I’ve read in a long time, and an apparent e-mail that proves this. Well until I walk into Game and see this on the shelf, I can only laugh at it (even though deep down everyone knew this was going to happen one time or another)

*NOTE: The image is not from the focus group, it is obviously a photoshop, still worth a laugh though!
