Rumors of RE5 Exclusivity are Ripe! 0

re5 Rumors of RE5 Exclusivity are Ripe!Resident Evil 5 was always going to be a rumors and controversy galore event, from the race controversy to whether or not it’s multi-platform. And now we’re back on the multi-platform or not question. According to PlaystationLifeStyle, the latest rumor is that there may be a HUGE announcement at E3, again this is pure speculation, so this isn’t a definite. But lately is has been said that Microsoft offered Capcom a massive sum of money for the exclusivity rights for RE5.

GayGamer writes that Capcom’s VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development, Christian ‘Sven’ Svensson “quickly stepped in to quell the panic.”

The assertion is false. RE5 is a multiplatform release that fits with our oft-stated crossplatform strategy. … For the avoidance of doubt… simultaneous release.

They do say that Sven doesnt clearly state which is untrue, the offer of money, or the exclusivity. Personally I think that if Capcom where to sell exclusivity to Microsoft, then bigger fools them, but it would hit Sony hard, even with the release of MGS4, if they lost RE5, that would be a pretty big hit. Whether or not Microsoft stepping in for this is to try to combat the exclusivity of MGS4 on Playstation, is unsure or not, but I would hate for RE5 to be an exclusive. Guess we will just have to wait for E3.

Jun Takeuchi Speaks - well his translator does 0

Super-producer Jun Takeuchi is talking again about Resident Evil 5, jeez, I don’t know how he doesn’t spill all the information! He doesnt seem to let his guard down - C’mon interviewers, keep working on him!

Anyways, few notes are apparently Capcom had no choice other than to base it in Africa as hints from Resident Evil Code: Veronica said the virus originated there. Something about the AI, and something else about the woman - yeah, just watch the damn video.

Resident Evil 5 Trailer 0

Gametrailers have recently just this morning released the new trailer for Resident Evil 5 which they showed on GTTV, after the whole controversy about a white man killing black man ho-ha, then I’m expecting this trailer to again receive a lot of publicity, but as my old Business teacher used to say, any publicity is good publicity… in willing to oppose that.
